Tathagata Farm is nestled in the valley near Darjeeling town, Tathagata Farm is located in a quaint & calm village named Mineral Spring which is also known as Dabaipani. Tathagata Farm was initially started as an organic farming experimental farm which is also a member of Small Farmer's Organic Tea Growers Community at Mineral Spring, Darjeeling. Tathagata Farm opened its facilities for travelers from the year 2005 to promote Agro Tourism in the hills of Darjeeling. Mineral Spring originally known as Lebong & Mineral Spring Tea Estate was one of the first few Tea Gardens started by British East India Company and post independence which was totally abandoned & closed. At present it is an independent society of small farmers. Enjoy a Complimentary Nepalese & Indian breakfast of Parathas, Roti, Puri, Aloodum, Seasonal Vegetables and Hot cup of Hand made Tea from the Farm.Nepali Cuisine in Dinner which are mainly Rice, Roti, Dal, Gundruk, Kinema, Seasonal Vegetables and one Non Vegetarian curry.We offer a simple amenities to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible and in peace. Pedestal Fans / Ceiling Fans during summer and Bed Heater in winters. Bon Fires in the evenings when requested without any cost. Note : No Televisions. Hot Water Geysers in Cottages and Deluxe Suite only. Deluxe Tents doesn't have Hot Water Geysers so instead we provide Hot Water buckets as and whenever requested.
